This Data Deletion Policy explains how Ample Wings Overseas (“Ample Wings,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles deletion of personal data, marketplace data, business information, account information and information obtained through connected marketplace APIs when customers use our services, including AW Co-Pilot AI.

This policy is intended to work together with our Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Security Policy and applicable marketplace/API agreements.

Important: The technical deletion timelines in this policy must match your actual implementation. In particular, Amazon's current SP-API security guidance states that PII must be deleted within 30 days after order delivery, non-PII data has an 18-month maximum unless longer retention is legally required, and Amazon deletion requests must be fulfilled within 30 days.

  • Reports
  • Other information obtained through authorized APIs

Technical Information

  • Application logs

Not every category will necessarily be deleted at the same time because different information has different legal, security and operational retention requirements.

4. How Users Can Request Deletion

Users may request deletion by contacting:

Email

support@amplewings.com

Subject

AW Co-Pilot Data Deletion Request

The request should include:

  • Registered email address
  • Account/business name
  • Relevant marketplace account, if applicable
  • Description of the information requested for deletion

We may request additional information to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request.

This is necessary to prevent unauthorized persons from requesting deletion of another user's information.

5. Account Deletion

If you request deletion of your AW Co-Pilot account, we will initiate our account-deletion process.

Subject to applicable retention requirements, the process may include deletion or anonymization of:

  • User profile information
  • Account settings
  • AW Co-Pilot application data
  • Saved product information
  • User-created listings
  • User-uploaded images
  • AI-generated content
  • Marketplace connection records
  • Application-specific configuration

Account deletion may result in permanent loss of information.

Users should export any information they need before requesting account deletion.

6. Marketplace Disconnection

Users may disconnect an individual marketplace without deleting their entire AW Co-Pilot account.

For example:

AW Co-Pilot → Amazon → Disconnect

After a marketplace is disconnected:

  1. AW Co-Pilot will stop routine synchronization with that marketplace.
  2. New API operations will not be performed using the disconnected authorization except where necessary to complete an authorized security/deletion process.
  3. Applicable access tokens or credentials will be revoked or securely deleted according to our procedures.
  4. Marketplace data already stored in AW Co-Pilot will be handled according to applicable retention and deletion requirements.
  5. The user's AW Co-Pilot account will remain active unless the user separately requests account deletion.

7. Amazon Selling Partner API Data

When AW Co-Pilot connects to Amazon through the Selling Partner API (“SP-API”), we process Amazon information only for authorized and permitted purposes.

Amazon requires developers to maintain appropriate controls over the receipt, storage, use, transfer and disposition of information obtained through SP-API.

Amazon's current security guidance specifies:

  • PII: delete within 30 days after order delivery.
  • Non-PII: maximum retention of 18 months unless longer retention is required by applicable law.
  • Amazon deletion requests: permanently and securely delete applicable information within 30 days of Amazon's request unless retention is legally required.

AW Co-Pilot's technical implementation should enforce these requirements wherever applicable.

8. Amazon Customer PII

Amazon customer PII requires special handling.

Where AW Co-Pilot receives Amazon customer PII through an authorized restricted SP-API role, such information will be:

  • Collected only when required for an authorized function.
  • Accessed only by systems and personnel that require it.
  • Protected using applicable security controls.
  • Retained only for the permitted purpose and period.
  • Deleted according to applicable Amazon requirements.

Amazon's current guidance specifies deletion of PII within 30 days after order delivery.

We will not intentionally retain Amazon customer PII indefinitely.

9. Amazon Non-PII Data

Non-PII Amazon information may include information such as:

  • Product information
  • Listing information
  • SKU information
  • Inventory information
  • Pricing information
  • Other marketplace information that does not constitute PII

Amazon's current security guidance states that non-PII SP-API data must not be retained for more than 18 months, unless longer retention is required by applicable law.

AW Co-Pilot will implement appropriate retention controls for such information.

10. Amazon Requests for Data Deletion

If Amazon requires AW Co-Pilot to delete or return Amazon information, we will process the request according to applicable Amazon requirements.

Amazon's current Data Protection Policy requires permanent and secure deletion of applicable Amazon information following Amazon's deletion notice, with the current policy providing a 30-day timeline unless retention is required by law.

Where requested by Amazon, we may provide appropriate confirmation or certification of deletion.

11. Deletion From Backups

Some information may temporarily remain in encrypted backups after deletion from active systems.

Backups are maintained primarily for:

  • Disaster recovery
  • Business continuity
  • Security
  • System restoration

Deleted information will not be restored to active processing except where necessary for legitimate recovery purposes.

Backup copies will be overwritten or securely deleted according to the applicable backup lifecycle.

Where Amazon information is involved, backup handling will follow applicable Amazon requirements.

12. Data That Cannot Immediately Be Deleted

Certain information may need to be retained because of:

  • Tax requirements
  • Accounting requirements
  • Legal obligations
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security investigations
  • Dispute resolution
  • Contract enforcement
  • Legal claims
  • Court orders
  • Regulatory requests

Where information must be retained, we will restrict its use to the purpose requiring retention.

13. Legal Retention Exceptions

A deletion request does not require us to delete information where retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

For example, information may be retained where necessary to:

  • Establish or defend a legal claim
  • Comply with tax requirements
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Comply with regulatory obligations
  • Respond to lawful government requests
  • Investigate security incidents
  • Prevent fraud or abuse

Once the applicable retention requirement ends, the information will be deleted or anonymized according to our procedures.

14. Third-Party Service Providers

AW Co-Pilot may use third-party providers for:

  • Cloud hosting
  • Databases
  • Storage
  • Backups
  • AI processing
  • Payment processing
  • Email
  • Monitoring
  • Security
  • Analytics

Where applicable, deletion workflows will be designed to address information held by relevant service providers.

Where a provider's technical architecture uses independent backup or disaster-recovery systems, deletion may occur according to that provider's documented lifecycle.

15. AI-Processed Information

If your product information or images are processed through an AI provider, deletion of information from AW Co-Pilot does not necessarily mean that every technical copy held by the AI provider is immediately deleted.

The treatment of information by an AI provider depends on:

  • The service used
  • The applicable contractual terms
  • The provider's data-retention configuration
  • Whether the provider stores inputs/outputs
  • Security and operational requirements

AW Co-Pilot will use AI providers and configurations appropriate for the intended processing purposes.

The actual providers and their applicable retention practices should be listed in the AW Co-Pilot Subprocessors / Third-Party Services List.

16. Uploaded Product Images

When an account or product is deleted, applicable user-uploaded product images will be removed from active AW Co-Pilot storage according to the applicable deletion workflow.

This may include:

  • Original product images
  • Processed images
  • Generated images
  • Thumbnails
  • Temporary processing files

Temporary copies may remain in encrypted backups until the applicable backup lifecycle expires.

17. AI-Generated Images

AI-generated images associated with deleted products or accounts will be removed from active AW Co-Pilot storage according to the applicable deletion process.

Users should download any generated assets they wish to retain before deleting their account or product data.

18. Product and Listing Data

If you delete an individual product, AW Co-Pilot may delete or anonymize associated:

  • Product data
  • Listing data
  • Product images
  • AI-generated content
  • Pricing configuration
  • Inventory configuration
  • Marketplace synchronization records

However, marketplace data already published to third-party platforms may remain on those platforms.

Deleting information from AW Co-Pilot does not automatically delete information already published to Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, eBay or another marketplace.

The user must use the relevant marketplace's own functionality where deletion from that marketplace is required.

19. Order Data

Order information may contain personal or business information.

Where applicable, order information will be subject to the relevant marketplace's data-access and retention requirements.

For Amazon customer PII, applicable Amazon retention requirements will take precedence over ordinary application retention periods. Amazon's current SP-API guidance specifies a 30-day post-delivery retention limit for PII, subject to applicable exceptions.

20. Security Logs

Certain security and audit information may need to be retained after account deletion to:

  • Detect fraud
  • Investigate security incidents
  • Maintain system integrity
  • Demonstrate security controls
  • Comply with legal obligations

Amazon's current security guidance specifies a 12-month minimum retention period for security logs in the SP-API compliance context.

Such logs should be minimized and should not be used for unrelated purposes.

21. API Credentials and Tokens

When a marketplace connection is disconnected or an account is deleted, applicable:

  • OAuth tokens
  • API credentials
  • Access tokens
  • Refresh tokens
  • Connection secrets

will be revoked and/or securely deleted according to the applicable marketplace and security requirements.

Credentials should never remain unnecessarily active after a connection has been terminated.

22. Data Minimization

Ample Wings follows a data-minimization approach.

We aim to collect and retain only information necessary for:

  • Providing the requested functionality
  • Maintaining security
  • Complying with law
  • Fulfilling contractual requirements
  • Maintaining necessary business records

Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy similarly requires developers to request and retrieve only information necessary for application functionality and to provide access on a need-to-know basis.

23. Deletion and Anonymization

Where deletion is technically or legally impractical, information may be anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.

Anonymized information may continue to be used for legitimate purposes such as:

  • Analytics
  • Security
  • Service improvement
  • Statistical analysis

Anonymized information will not intentionally be used to re-identify individuals.

24. Verification of Deletion Requests

To protect customers from unauthorized deletion requests, we may verify:

  • Account ownership
  • Registered email
  • Business information
  • Marketplace connection
  • Other account information

We will not disclose account information to a person who cannot establish appropriate authority.

25. Deletion Request Process

Our general process is:

Step 1 — Request

User submits a request to:

support@amplewings.com

Step 2 — Verification

We verify the requester's identity or authority.

Step 3 — Scope Identification

We identify:

  • Account
  • Connected marketplaces
  • Applicable data
  • Retention requirements

Step 4 — Deletion

Applicable active data is deleted or anonymized.

Step 5 — Third-Party Processing

Where applicable, relevant deletion instructions are provided to service providers.

Step 6 — Credentials

Applicable marketplace authorization tokens are revoked or deleted.

Step 7 — Backup Lifecycle

Remaining backup copies are handled according to applicable backup retention procedures.

Step 8 — Confirmation

Where appropriate, we notify the requester that the deletion process has been completed or explain any information that must legally be retained.

26. Expected Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests without undue delay.

The actual completion time may depend on:

  • Data volume
  • Type of information
  • Marketplace requirements
  • Third-party systems
  • Backup systems
  • Legal retention requirements

For Amazon information, applicable Amazon-specific deadlines will be followed.

Amazon's current guidance requires applicable Amazon deletion requests to be fulfilled within 30 days unless retention is legally required.

27. Deletion Does Not Mean Cancellation of Marketplace Accounts

Deleting your AW Co-Pilot account does not automatically:

  • Close your Amazon seller account
  • Close your Flipkart seller account
  • Close your Shopify store
  • Close your eBay account
  • Close your Etsy account
  • Close another marketplace account

Those accounts are independently controlled by their respective platforms.

28. Deletion of Business Services Data

For customers using Ample Wings' non-SaaS services, such as:

  • Marketplace management
  • Marketplace onboarding
  • Digital marketing
  • Web development
  • Consulting
  • Listing and cataloguing
  • Other professional services

data may be retained according to the applicable service agreement, project requirements and legal/accounting obligations.

A customer may request deletion of personal information by contacting:

support@amplewings.com

29. Data Protection Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights relating to their personal information, including rights concerning:

  • Access
  • Correction
  • Erasure
  • Withdrawal of consent
  • Grievance redressal
  • Other applicable data protection rights

India's Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 were notified by MeitY in November 2025, with different provisions coming into force according to the commencement schedule specified in the notification.

Our deletion processes will be updated as applicable statutory requirements become effective.
